Pinnacle Attains Microsoft Partner Silver Learning Competency
The Pinnacle Group of Indiana, recently attained its 10th Microsoft Partner Competency, the Microsoft Partner Silver Learning Competency. To earn a Silver Learning Competency, organizations must complete a rigorous set of tests to prove their level of technology expertise, have the right number of Microsoft Certified Professionals and Microsoft Certified Trainers, submit client references and demonstrate their commitment to client satisfaction by participating in an annual survey.
With the addition of the Silver Learning Competency, Pinnacle continues to hold more competencies than any other Microsoft Partner in Northern Indiana. As a Microsoft Partner with the Silver Learning Competency, the Pinnacle Group will have access to pre-release content, and will be exclusively authorized by Microsoft to teach using Microsoft Official Courseware (MOC). MOC will enable Pinnacle to help its customers gain proficiency through Hands-On Labs, simulations, and real-world application of skills. Pinnacle will also be able focus on its training strengths—and meet customer needs more effectively—by offering courses in a variety of formats.

Training Center Open House
The Pinnacle Group of Indiana, successfully launched its state of the art Training Center, on Monday, March 28th, hosting two full Microsoft technical workshops. The week was highlighted by over 100 individuals who attended the Pinnacle Training Center Open House on Wednesday, March 30th. With catering provided by Max and Erma’s of Mishawaka, guests enjoyed an evening of refreshments and great food. Pinnacle staff provided Open House attendees with tours of the Pinnacle offices and training center throughout the evening. Many attendees expressed their excitement that Pinnacle was now in the computer training business. Attendees were also informed of Pinnacle’s partnership with Infopoint, a computer training center based in Indianapolis. The Pinnacle/Infopoint Partnership, allows for more training resources to be offered to all Pinnacle and Infopoint clients on a state-wide level. Classes in Mishawaka and Indianapolis, are currently being offered through both locations.

Dancing With Our Star
Would you ‘cha cha cha’ in front of hundreds for your favorite charity? Well, that’s what our very own Craig Sroda will be doing for the Center for the Homeless in South Bend, in their version of “Dancing with the Stars.” A group of community members, partnered with professional dance instructors will be competing against one another on April 29th.
The Center for the Homeless is a nationally recognized model serving the most vulnerable throughout the South Bend area. This dance competition is part of their yearly Miracle Auction event. Money raised goes directly to support the Center’s mission which has provided more than 700,000 safe nights, over 1.5 million meals, and has welcomed over 45,000 men, women, and children since its opening in 1988. Their intensive programs are designed to break the cycle of homelessness and to equip individuals with the tools and support to turn their lives around. They have received considerable national attention due to their innovation and effectiveness.
